The Wedding

Inside, a little barn converted into a restaurant, It has a low sloping ceiling and seats 45. We only put a few decorations on the table as we really like the way the whole place looks already, simple, converted barn with beams and bare walls. we covered the tables in little butterflies and wrapped up sweets as favours. flowers in tea pots and old hand painted china.

The outside courtyard at our afternoon reception. we had pictures taken on the cliffs first and then all came and congregated here until dinner, enjoying the sunshine.

My dad driving the tractor which he borrowed from a neighbour.

My brother in his Cornish kilt setting off sky lanterns!

I really wanted wild country hedgerow flowers nothing fancy, i wanted to just go and pick my own really.

The Bonfire we had in the evening, around midnight, we left the dance floor in the barn and all sat round the fire in the field. Many people camped here as well. We kept the fire going until 5am!

A little closer up, i put in the ribbon in the back of my dress to tighten it and make it look pretty.

On the cliffs near Trevigue and High Cliff. We had the best weather. I bought this dress from ebay for only £100 and had it made to fit!

Back on the tractor after the service, which was taken by my own brother. We only went up the road and then we got in a car.

I designed and printed the order of services the week before and with help from my family putting them together in the last couple of days.

A bit of posing outside our afternoon reception, we had all our family pictures taken here by our friend Lizzie.

Chocolate wedding cake covered in strawberries. Our neighbour made this for us.

Arriving in style, me and my two bridesmaids with my dad driving the tractor.

The flowers were arranged by Silvia Sayers a lady from the church and she did an amazing job. We had the wooden boxes made by Adams brother Ben, for the entrance and the front of the church. We had similar flowers arranged in tea pots for the afternoon reception.
